WHAT IS TDS & WHY DOES IT MATTER?
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) measures the combined content of all inorganic minerals, salts, metals, cations, or anions dissolved in water. In Rawalpindi and Islamabad, bore water and pipeline supply frequently register TDS levels between 400 ppm to over 1,500 ppm—loaded with calcium hardness, chlorides, nitrates, and heavy metals.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), ideal drinking water should maintain a balanced TDS between 100 to 250 ppm. Water Clinic Reverse Osmosis units systematically strip out harmful excess minerals, then naturally remineralize the water with bio-available calcium and magnesium.

Each stage performs a distinct, indispensable scientific role in removing contaminants and enhancing taste.
PPF (Polypropylene Pre-Filter)
Removes visible and microscopic suspended insoluble matter: mud, coarse silt, pipe scale, rust from rusty municipal mains, and sand. This crucial pre-stage protects the internal electric booster pump and sensitive carbon blocks from abrasive wear.
CTO (Extruded Carbon Block)
Extruded activated carbon absorbs free chlorine, chloramines, volatile organic compounds, synthetic detergents, and unpalatable water odor. Eliminating chlorine is essential, as chlorine oxidizes and ruins thin-film composite (TFC) RO membranes.
GAC (Granular Activated Carbon)
Provides deep-bed chemical filtration. High-porosity granular carbon traps residual pesticides, industrial solvent traces, and unpleasant subterranean water smells, ensuring the water reaching the membrane is completely clarified.
Thin-Film Composite RO Membrane
Operating under 80–125 PSI pump pressure, water is forced through a semi-permeable polyamide membrane with pores 500,000 times smaller than a human hair. Only pure water molecules can pass; up to 98% of dissolved heavy metals (arsenic, lead, mercury), excess sodium, fluorides, nitrates, and microorganisms are continuously rejected.
Post Developer Coconut Carbon
Water resting inside the pressure tank can absorb slight metallic or rubbery tastes. The post-carbon polisher conditions the final flow directly before the faucet, eliminating bitterness and imparting a crisp, sweet taste.
Natural Mineralizer & Alkaline Stage
Completely demineralized water is not ideal for human vitality. Water Clinic infuses essential balanced minerals—Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, and Sodium—restoring spring-like alkaline pH (7.2 to 7.8) for optimal cell hydration and bone health.
Ultraviolet (UV) Sterilizer
